Hi, I’m Maryann.

I’m a UK + Toronto based Senior Set Designer and First Assistant Art Director with ten years of experience in film and television. My credits include The Boys, Murderbot, Foundation, The Handmaid’s Tale and Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.

I specialise in developing a production designer’s vision into detailed 3D models, visualisations and construction drawings. Working closely with production designers and art directors, I help develop sets from early concepts through to construction, balancing the creative intent with the practical details that make them buildable.

My background includes a bachelor’s degree from the Ryerson School of Interior Design and experience at Yabu Pushelberg. That grounding in space, materials and detailing continues to inform my approach to designing for the screen.

What I enjoy most is the process of figuring a set out: exploring its possibilities in 3D, resolving how its elements fit together, and seeing those decisions take shape on the studio floor.
